St. Joseph’s School, Naini celebrated Hindi Diwas on September 9, 2025, by organizing a series of engaging
programmes featuring speeches, poetry recitations by KG students, dance
performances, and a discourse on Hindi punctuation and the life of poetess
Subhadra Kumari Chauhan.
The morning assembly
was conducted by the Hindi Association,
which aims to instill a love for our official language and its rich cultural
heritage in today’s generation.
The celebration was
graced by the former Principal, Rev. Fr.
Joseph Sagayanathan, as the Chief
Guest of the event. He was honoured with a shawl as a token of respect
and gratitude for his valuable contributions to the institution.
The Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Joseph Sagayanathan, appreciated
the efforts of SJS Naini and the Hindi Association, and congratulated the Hindi Association President, Srishti Dubey
of Class 11, for her dedication and sincerity towards her responsibilities. He
also praised the school choir and the students who played the guitar and
synthesizer in a beautiful musical symphony.
The
Principal, Rev. Fr. Melwin
Wilson D’Souza, extended his heartfelt appreciation to Rev. Fr. Joseph Sagayanathan
for being the Chief Guest and gracing the occasion with his presence.
