My dear Students, Parents and well wishers,
Greetings to all of you.
It gives me immense joy to pen down these few lines to you through our school website. Our website will give you each and every information about
the school, very specially, the reports of curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. I wish that you browse through the pages
of our website, at-least once in a week to get the necessary information and updates.
Education is a life-long learning process. Learning happens all the time; not only in a pre-designated place called the school.
It happens at home, between home and school too. The home’s and school’s mission therefore is to provide a learning environment
and opportunities to the children as the learners.
Shaping young, impressionable minds is one of life’s biggest challenges. At St. Joseph’s School, Naini, we aim to empower our students
to grow as individuals with strong open discerning minds with an international perspective, preparing them to make a mark in the global
village - the world has come to be today.
Our distinctive academic programmes and innovative teaching methodologies encourage students to develop critical-thinking and learn
through enquiry and reason, to exchange thoughts and ideas, to develop key personal and social values, to take ownership for his/ her
choices and to set goals to realize their own unique potential.
We, here at St. Joseph’s school, strive to provide an environment that is basically sacred, and has a framework of discipline that
is flexible yet supportive, a freedom that allows students to learn even from their mistakes, to develop into person moulded by
the correlatives of freedom and responsibility. Our ever inspiring school motto “ SEMPER SURSUM” is our guiding star, which
always helps us to aim high in life.
Today, as I look back into these last four years, my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude to God almighty for the continuous graces,
blessings and providence that I have experienced through the patronage of our heavenly Patron St. Joseph. I am grateful to our
Bishop Raphy Manjaly, our Managers Rev. Fr. K.K. Antony and presently Rev. Fr. Sebastian Francis for their expertise and able
guidance. I am grateful to our management committee members, all our teaching and non-teaching staff, our DSH Sisters, all our
parents, well wishers and all the stakeholders, for the wonderful and unstinted cooperation that I have received all through
these four year. As I pass on the baton of responsibilities in the hands of Rev. Fr. Joseph Sagayanathan, I wish him good luck,
and also request all of you to extend your support to him in every way possible, so that, this sapling, which is just spreading
its branches, may bear hundred fold fruits and the students who come out from the portals of this institution, may spread the
fragrance of love, peace and joy wherever they go.
Thanking you once again,
Yours truly,
Rev. Fr. Joseph Sagayanathan
Principal
