On 6th September 2025, St.
Joseph’s School, Naini, celebrated the Feast Day of Saint Mother Teresa and
Teachers' Day to mark the birthday of Former President Dr. Sarvepalli
Radhakrishnan with great enthusiasm and gratitude. The cabinet members
organized a special assembly to honor these two educators of society: Mother
Teresa, who taught us the true meaning of sacrifice and selflessness, and Dr.
Radhakrishnan, who taught us how to embrace the love of teaching to change
society for a better future.
The Principal, Rev. Fr. Melwin
Wilson D’Souza, and the teachers were escorted by the school band, followed by
the cabinet members. The teachers were felicitated with flowers and handmade
cards created by the students.
The participants presented heartfelt
poems, mesmerizing songs, a mime act, a skit, and groovy dances to express
their appreciation for their teachers. Students also set up a selfie point for
their teachers to capture these wonderful memories.
On this occasion, the Principal,
Rev. Fr. Melwin Wilson D’Souza, appreciated the efforts of every student
involved in the preparation of the event. He also congratulated the teaching
staff, recognizing their hard work and sincerity, while highlighting the
importance of teachers in shaping the future of students.
The Teachers' Day celebration was a
huge success and strengthened the bond between students and teachers. We’re
grateful for our amazing teachers who make learning both fun and engaging.
