Mahatma Gandhi says “Education aims at bringing about an all around development of the child. Summer is the time for children to take time off from the regular chore of going to school and getting down to the curriculum. So, the summer vacation is an opportunity to horn certain life skills while having fun.
A 20 days summer camp was held at St. Joseph’s School in the school premises. About 110 students actively participated in the various activities like western Dance, Cricket, Karate and Music. It was a best opportunity to discover and develop ones talents. Mr. Abhishek Singh taught music along with Rhythm and melody created in the kids a passion and love music. The Mr. Deepu Gupta and Mr. Bharmadatt Dwivedi, taught children the dance in western style. A rained knowledge of self defence, sense of integrity, balance, co- ordination, postures was develop in the kids through their Karate guru Sir Rajesh Kumar. The cricket master Sir Sayed Adil Ali brought the team spirit in the children. It was a time for learning and fun.
On 11th June 2018, summer camp was concluded with a concluding ceremony, where each group gave their performance on the stage. Our Principal Fr. Jacob Bona D’Souza, appreciated all the students, teachers, coaches and parents for taking part in this camp. Each student was awarded with a certificate of participation.
